Scripture Memorization Challenge: God’s Peace (Week 46)
This week’s Scripture is Philippians 4:7 (KJV):
And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Have you ever felt like you were losing your mind? Has your heart hurt so bad that you felt as if you couldn’t go on? I’ve been there, too. I’ve also experienced the truth of Philippians 4:7, giving me hope in situations that were seemingly impossible. And it works every time.
Today if you are feeling as if you are going to lose your mind and are suffering from a broken heart, I encourage you to meditate on Philippians 4:7, reading and speaking it out loud over and over again. I know it might seem strange at first to some, but the Bible tells us in Romans 10:17, “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” So when you read God’s Word aloud, you are building your own faith by reading, speaking, and hearing God’s Word all at once! That is something, isn’t it?
I am praying for you, dear sister. Be encouraged and know that God’s peace is not only real, it is also for you to experience even in the most difficult times of your life.
Commit this verse to memory.
Take the time at least once a day to read this week’s verse out loud several times. Pray that God will build your faith while you take a step in obedience to His word.
Share this blog post with someone who could use God’s peace in their lives.
