Scripture Memorization Challenge: Confronting Fear (Week 39)
This week’s Scripture is Isaiah 41:10 (KJV):
Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed ; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
I find so much comfort in the words above. There is something very settling in my spirit every time I read this passage of Scripture. I can tell you one thing for sure: God has strengthened me through many times where fear nearly claimed my life. Has fear ever driven you to a place that you felt as if your very life was being stolen from you? Be encouraged, dear sister, God promises to be with us, help us, and literally uphold us with the right hand of His righteousness. What a mighty God we serve!
The next time you are tempted to succumb to fear, remember the promises contained within Isaiah 41:10. If you keep this at the threshold of your faith, you will certainly overcome any fear that the enemy throws your way! You will not only overcome fear through your faith – giving God access to fight your battles – you will also walk in His victory! And there is nothing sweeter than being on God’s winning team!
Commit this verse to memory.
